The Phoenix Foundation from Finland have been putting out music since the early 2000 (not to be mistaken with the other group from Buffalo by the same name & age).

The band has combined emotional & melancholy punk sounds from the 80's & 90's throughout their career to create a unique 'Finnishesque' sound that has ranged from epic & massive, to fast and catchy whilst remaining recognisable due to Jallu's remarkable howl and pop sensibility. After 7 full-lengths, several smaller slabs & multiple line-up changes the music today still remains true to its melo punk origins!

Although The Phoenix Foundation has stayed under rafters from the live circuits for quite some time – mainly due to other band commitments like 1981, Kieltolaki, Last Shot At Fame to name a few – it has always been there as an outlet for greating awesome emo songs that brew in the singer Jallu's head. All of this is evident on the 6 minute 'Secrets' presented here for the first time.
